Water We Waiting For? Summit Working Group

Aims of the Stratford-on-Avon / South / Warwickshire Water Summit

To bring together communities, businesses, residents, with flood groups, local authorities, agencies, and experts to address water-related challenges in SoA / Warwickshire and how we can adapt and prepare for the future.

Themes

  • Understanding impact of flooding on SoA and Warwickshire: what is being put in place to future-proof?
  • Climate change adaptation, emphasising sustainable water management and resilient infrastructure.
  • Natural flood management, incorporating flood plains, wetlands, tree planting, and river restoration to reduce flood risks
  • Emergency planning
  • What can businesses/communities do to play their part in reducing flood risk?
