Holly Morris, Policy Officer, Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, presented to WALC’s member Clerks on the process for applying for a public works loan.
The facility lends to town and parish councils (in England) and town and community councils (in Wales). Applicants must obtain a borrowing approval from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DLUHC) formerly the Ministry of Housing,Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), for which they should approach WALC.
