Embedding Biodiversity in your Community: How to develop a Local Nature Action Plan

13 Sep 2024

2:00 PM - 3:45 PM

Led by Warwickshire’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy in partnership with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and WALC, this free workshop is open to Councils and community group representatives.

The workshop is designed to help your Council develop, consult on, and deliver your own Local Nature Action Plan (LNAP).

You are welcome to arrive early at 1:30pm for the opportunity to network.

Starting promptly at 2pm, you will first hear from South Gloucestershire Council’s Biodiversity Assets and Commons Manager on the Council's widely disseminated Local Nature Action Plan guidance. This step-by-step guide was developed specifically for town and parish councils to help them act on the ecological crisis the world is facing.

In the second part of the session, various partners, including WALC, will assist delegates in developing their action plan in a series of round table discussions.

This session will be repeated at 4pm; delegates are welcome to stay on for further networking until close at 6:30pm.
