This training session is essential for clerk's new in post. It will provide an overview of your role as a Professional Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. The session will cover an introduction to local council administration, the various meetings, differing roles of the Clerk, Chair, Vice Chair and Councillors. Plus agenda, minutes, code of conduct, Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, legal powers and the internal and external audit process,
