Raising Awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation

This event is being run by Stratford District Council and is open to Parish and Town Councillors & Clerks from the Stratford on Avon District area.

Rotherham. Telford, Newcastle, Rochdale – now infamous areas for historic Child Sexual Exploitation…….. could Stratford be next?

The session around Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) will be covering:

  • The national and local picture of CSE
  • Definition and understanding of CSE
  • Grooming and victims
  • Spotting the signs of CSE
  • What happens next if you have concerns in your community
  • Your responsibilities as Councillors

It can be a scary topic but the session will be interesting, engaging, informative and delivered by specialist staff from the Warwickshire CSE Team. Tony Ryan from Stratford Police will also help in the presentation.

5pm - 7pm at the Council Chamber, Elizabeth House, Stratford upon Avon

Further details will be availible nearer the time
