New Frankley in Birmingham is an Urban Parish Council which is located in the south west area of Birmingham. The Council serves an electorate of approximately 5,900 and is seeking to appoint a forward thinking and proactive Clerk to the Council/Responsible Financial Officer - someone able to not only carry out the functions of an Urban Parish Council but to involve themselves with the community which the Council serves.

The Council is therefore, seeking someone who ideally has previous experience working as a Parish Clerk/RFO and has knowledge of local government although training can be provided. You will be CiLCA qualified (or willing to obtain the qualification within 12 months of appointment) and Computer Literate.
