Keresley Parish Council is seeking applicants for the post of Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer to the Council. Working from home, this position is part-time, requiring approximately 3 hours per week. Additionally, attendance is required at Parish Council Meetings and the Annual Parish Meeting.
From 1st April 2019 Salary Range LC1 (7-12) Scale Point 7 £19,554 pro rata per annum; £10.16 per hour; 3 hours per week to be worked flexibly. Home Based plus Home Working Allowance of £216 per annum.
This position would suit a well-organised person, motivated to be involved in village affairs.
Applicants need to have good communication and appropriate computer skills, take minutes and manage the Council’s administration and finances. Applicants will need to have internet access and be comfortable with email and the use of the internet.
Preference would be for applicants that are CiLCA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification. Training courses are available.
