Beausale, Haseley, Honiley and Wroxall Parish Council require a Clerk / Responsible Finance Officer.

The Parish Council, representing four parishes with an electorate of just under 500, is seeking an enthusiastic Clerk to provide professional support and guidance.

  • Applicants need to have good organisational and administrative skills: essential skills include agenda preparation, minute taking and financial management of the Council. 
  • The Clerk plays a key role in ensuring the Council operates in accordance with its legislative duties. 
  • Training courses will be available to support and maintain the professional development of the Clerk.

Salary will be in accordance with NJC LC1, Scale Point 17 rising to Scale Point 20 over 4 years (currently £9.70 per hour rising to £10.30) and is paid monthly in arrears. Increments will be dependent upon satisfactory performance. The post is home–based and expected to require an average of 20 hours work per month, with ten evening meetings per year.
