Boddington is in Northamptonshire
Boddington Parish is in South Northants District Council's area and borders on Cherwell and South Warwickshire District Councils. Most of the 635 electors live in the villages of Upper and Lower Boddington which are a mile apart.
Mainly working from home plus attendance at evening Parish Council Meetings in Upper Boddington (usually on the 1 st Wednesday every month) and occasional other meetings. The Parish Council has a separate Responsible Finance Officer who liaises with the Clerk.
Since the General Election the Government has madeonward devolution a key plank of its local governmentand de-centralisation agenda.

This call to action aims to raise awareness within Town and Parish Councils across the UK of the potential for community co-operatives to address problems local communities are facing and the support available from the Plunkett Foundation.
Our goal is to provide Town and Parish Councils with the tools and information they need to either get involved directly, or to pass onto other community groups and individuals in their locality.
