As a result of a Community Grant from WALC and the efforts of local residents, Little Wolford Parish Meeting have not just achieved their fundraising target, but exceeded it. This week, a village defibrillator has been installed.
Permission was sought and given by Little Wolford Village Hall to site the unit on an exterior wall. Little Wolford Parish Meeting liaised with Community Heartbeat Trust regarding the purchase of the defibrillator and installation by an electrician.
Signs have now gone up around the village to help direct people in case of emergency.
Helen Bostock, Chairman, Little Wolford Parish Meeting, said:
Thanks in large part to the generous grant from WALC, this is a great achievement and a life-saving asset for our community.
