WALC are sending huge congratulations to Ray Evans, Clerk to Beaudesert & Henley in Arden Joint Parish Council who recently passed the CiLCA qualification.
On passing Ray told us
"I know a lot of people took to writing a book during the lockdown. I spent mine sweating over thirty learning outcomes in order to qualify for CiLCA.
It was a strange and isolated period for me, never meeting a tutor in person, sending off my outcomes by the press of a button on the portal, receiving them back duly assessed. It all seemed quite surreal.
However, as a man of some mature years, I am beside myself with this achievement and thank all my supporters at SLCC and WALC. Oh, and I did write a book as well!"
