Health & Wellbeing Week

Health & Wellbeing Week

Before lockdown, many local councils across England were stepping up to the plate to get involved in the health and wellbeing agenda in their communities. COVID-19 has now permanently embedded the crucial role local councils have to play in health and wellbeing in their areas.

An updated, online follow-on to NALC’s original Spring Conference, Health and Wellbeing Week will showcase the relevance of local councils to all major aspects of community health – ranging from the future of health to partnership working.

Book onto this exciting week of Leaders talk and In conversation sessions for an essential blend of strategic, practical and community-facing outcomes for your council residents.

The week, which takes place between 26 and 30 October, will feature seven online events. The event themes will cover:

  • Local councils and the COVID-19 health agenda
  • The future of health challenges post COVID-19
  • Community revival through COVID-19
  • Collaboration through health and wellbeing
  • Local councils and hidden disabilities
  • Supporting mental health in your community

Register your place and find out more about these events at https://www.nalc.gov.uk/rebuildingcommunities

Ticket prices start from £30 for single events and £210 for the full week. Health and Wellbeing Week is sponsored by BHIB Councils Insurance, Blachere Illumination and CCLA.
