Briefing opportunities for Parish Councils and voluntary and community sector organisations by WCC on devolution and recovery options

Cllr Izzi Seccombe, Leader of Warwickshire County Council and Cllr Heather Timms, Portfolio Holder for Environment, Heritage and Culture want to meet Parish Councils along with voluntary and community organisations to explain the position of  Warwickshire County Council in relation to the anticipated Government White Paper on Devolution and Recovery. They would like to provide an update on the current position and next steps, including opportunities to engage and shape any future proposals for change in local government structures.

The event is being run twice to provide choice for delegates.

  • The first is an evening event on 19th October between 7pm and 9pm
  • It is then being repeated in the morning of 20th October between 10am and 11.30am

There are 85 places available on each session and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Registration is necessary to generate your Zoom joining details.  If you are not from a Local Council can you please select other from the choices when you register.  Registration will close at 8 am on Thursday 15th October 2020

There will be no charge for these sessions.
