Mike Deegan

Mike Deegan Consulting

I have 30 years experience of successfully sourcing funding and effectively managing projects. I previously worked in Nature Conservation for 20 years, 17 of those as a senior manager with a Wildlife Trust, responsible for the Reserves team.
I later spent seven years as a Parish Councillor at Gnosall Parish Council in Staffordshire where I was Vice-chairman for several years and developed and managed a number of community projects; having secured approximately £200k. I stood down as a Councillor three years ago to set up my consultancy business, but I am still actively involved on two Council committees.
I am a member of the accreditation panel of the Local Council Award Scheme for SALC and with NALC for their national pilot of the same scheme.
