This is a new course designed to help councils understand the need for polices and what policies should be in place. The risk to councils that have some or no policies in place. Templates of policies will be offered at the end of the session.

Earn	1 CPD Points Record of attendance at training events is required when applying for the Local Council Awards Scheme
Fees	£30.00 per delegate for Member Councils Non-member fee £60.00
Help with Delegate’s Fees	WALC will subsidise member councils Members with a budgeted income up to £15,000 will get half price for all delegates Members with a budgeted income between £15,001 & £30,000 can send two for the price of one Members with a budgeted income between £30,001 & £50,000 can send three for the price of two Members with a budgeted income over £50,000 can send five for the price of four Unfortunately the website cannot currently handle the free places, so if you qualify please email events@walc.org.uk and we will amend any relevant invoices.

Cancellations	Any delegate cancellations must be received in writing 5 days before the event for a full refund of the fee. Substitute delegate(s) may be named at any time up to the event.
