Course tutor: Louisa Hill, Training Development Manager, Public Sector Software (PSS) Ltd

Louisa is an accredited RPII Annual Inspector and Trainer with a Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Recreation Management and an Advanced Diploma in Education. She has 20 years of experience in the Outdoor Leisure Industry, including 6 years as Playground Manager for Cardiff Council, managing the day-to-day operation of over 120 playgrounds. It is fair to say she has a working knowledge of the issues encountered by Local Authorities and playground operators! Louisa continues to regularly undertake Inspections in order to maintain a current knowledge base.

Course Outline: The training will consist of a 4 hour session including both theoretical and practical elements.

Delegates learn how to undertake the regular visual inspections of fixed playground equipment at their sites and effectively record/report any issues identified.

This course is suitable for all Parish Clerks, Councillors and volunteers involved with playground inspections.

£35.00 per delegate for Member Councils

  • Members with a budgeted income up to £15,000 will get half price for all delegates
  • Members with a budgeted income between £15,001 & £30,000 can send two for the price of one
  • Members with a budgeted income between £30,001 & £50,000 can send three for the price of two
  • Members with a budgeted income over £50,000 can send five for the price of four
