Course Details

The session will begin with a general introduction focussing on how to approach the tasks: to help new candidates, and refresh the memories of those who have already attended. Candidates will be expected to have read and absorbed the introduction (Setting the Scene) in the portfolio guide
Thereafter the sessions will concentrate on Thereafter the sessions will concentrate on

• Unit 1: Core Roles in Local Council Administration
• Unit 5: Community Engagement
  There will also be time to raise individual queries

The tutor will hold a general “how-to-tackle-the portfolio” section and will cover specific questions within the portfolio which are known to cause problem.

You will not be eligible to attend the third CiLCA portfolio training session unless you have an SLCC candidate number.
